There is biblical and historical evidence that 24/7 prayer is a catalyst for both mission and the transformation of communities. Unceasing prayer began in Acts 1:14 as a response to the Great Commission. The Moravian community, under the leadership of Ludwig Zinzendorf, started a movement of day and night prayer that continued for over 100 years and birthed the modern missions movement.
